Reservations must be made in advance and can be accessed through the Tournament of Roses website. Led by volunteer members of the Tournament of Roses Heritage Committee, these one-and-a-half-hour tours are offered every Thursday at 2 p.m. through August 28, 2025. You’ll explore the beautifully preserved rooms of Tournament House while hearing little-known facts, endearing stories and fascinating trivia about the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association and its legacy.
Located in Pasadena, the mansion was once the home of William Wrigley Jr. and his wife Ada. Wrigley is best known for founding the Wrigley chewing gum company and owning the Chicago Cubs' Wrigley Field. In 1958, following Ada’s passing, the Wrigley family generously donated the estate to the city of Pasadena with the request that it become the permanent headquarters of the Tournament of Roses. Since then, Tournament House has remained the heart of the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game.
What is the Tournament of Roses without our beautiful roses? Surrounding Tournament House are the Wrigley Gardens, which span four and a half acres and feature more than 1,500 varieties of roses, camellias and seasonal blooms. The house, the grounds and the gardens are beautifully maintained and well worth the visit. Guests are invited to picnic on the lawn before or after the tour while enjoying the beauty of the property.
