El Torneo de las Rosas de Pasadena nombró a Serena Guo como la Reina de las Rosas 2026, durante la ceremonia de Coronación presentada por Citizens Business Bank en la sede del Tournament House. Serena, estudiante del último año en Arcadia High School, es capitana del equipo de debate del Congreso, atleta de voleibol y voluntaria en la Biblioteca Pública de Arcadia y el Foothill Unity Center. Interesada en la ley y las políticas públicas, planea estudiar en Stanford, USC o UC Berkeley.
​The City of Pasadena has launched a new citywide survey called “Build Pasadena’s Future With Us”
On the housing front, the city’s Rent Stabilization Department has issued new guidance to ensure landlords provide proper notice of rent increases, giving renters clearer protections under Pasadena’s Charter. At the same time, after nearly a decade of discussion, the long-debated North Lake Plan has cleared a significant hurdle, paving the way for new growth and revitalization in the community. 
Pasadena turned pink  with the PPD Coffee With A Cop Pink Edition at Paseo Colorado. Neighbors enjoyed coffee, fruit bowls, and the opportunity to mingle with Pasadena PD officers while the Pink Patch Project campaign was launched in support of the fight against breast cancer. 

In the San Gabriel Valley, The Foothill Gold Line expansion celebrated the official opening of the extension of the Metro A Line to the cities of Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne and Pomona, further extending the world’s longest rail line.
